What the colours and labels mean

About this directory

Sources and method

Every workshop named in the official AAAI directory was checked against its organisers' website, call for papers and submission site, last on 28 Oct 2026. General dates and policies come from the AAAI workshop programme.

AAAI's workshop programme overview states 47 workshops, but its public directory names 45. The other two could not be identified from AAAI sources and are not listed.

What the colours mean

  • TopicThe rule on the left of each card shows the workshop's main topic:Theory and optimisationAgents and decision-makingLanguage and reasoningPerception and embodimentSafety, security and evaluationFinance and time seriesScience and applications
  • UrgencyRed due within 7 days; amber within 14 days; later deadlines stay neutral.
  • InformationVerified details agree across the official sources checked; Sources disagree official pages give different values, each listed in the details; Incomplete some details are not yet published or a page could not be reached. These marks are black and grey: amber and red only ever mean time.
  • Not stated means the sources do not say; it is never a “no”.

Deadlines, shortlist and corrections

Deadlines show the time and zone the organisers state. Dates marked “AAAI general date” are the AAAI defaults, used where a workshop has not published its own. Countdowns and calendar files assume 23:59 Anywhere on Earth when the time or zone is missing.

Your shortlist stays in this browser. To share it, open Compare and copy its link.

Organisers can send corrections to contact@qrsntu.org. QRS also helps workshops with websites and calls for papers.
