Tickets and registration
What is left, how the waitlists work, what a ticket includes, and what happens if you cannot go.
The short answer
On 2 November 2026 in-person tickets were sold out at all three sites. Sydney and Atlanta release places daily from their waitlists, while the Paris waitlist is closed. The Virtual Only Pass was not marked sold out. Full refunds end on 4 November.

What is left
- Sydney and Atlanta
- In-person sessions were shown as sold out on 2 November, with waitlist places released daily. Waitlist
- Paris

How registration works
- Where to register
- Sydney and Atlanta register on neurips.cc. Paris registers separately at neurips-europe.cc, run by Dakini PCO. Registration
- Waitlists
- You must be logged in to join. Selected people are emailed from do-not-reply@neurips.cc, and the page asks people not to write about their position. One person can be on only one site's list. Waitlist
- Authors
- Each accepted paper has one author place at the site where it is presented. A Virtual Only Pass is not enough for an author. Author FAQ
- Virtual Only Pass
- USD 50 for students, 200 academic, 275 industrial. It covers live streams and interaction through the mobile app. Any physical registration on neurips.cc includes it. Pricing
- Community events
- To attend an Affinity, Social or Expo event you must be registered for the day it is held. Registration
- Transfers
- Registrations cannot be transferred or shared. A name change can void one, and ID matching the name may be requested. Transfer FAQ
