NeurIPS 2026 Attendee Guide

NeurIPS 2026 · Presenting

Presenting

Poster or oral, what each asks of you, every author task with its deadline and where to do it, then every template, guide and AI prompt, each marked official or not.

Summary

Next author deadlines: the final paper on OpenReview by 6 November, the SlidesLive video by 13 November and the poster topic by 15 November, both through MyStuff on neurips.cc. Poster print orders close on 25 November in Atlanta and 30 November in Paris. At least one author must register for the main conference and present in person.

Checked against official pages on Thu 5 Nov 2026.

Presenting a poster or an oral

Every accepted paper has a poster. An oral paper also gives a talk, and keeps its poster slot.

Poster

  • Print 140 x 90 cm landscape for the main conference, 61 x 85 cm portrait for a workshop. Never larger. NeurIPS
  • Order printing by your city's deadline (Atlanta 25 Nov, Paris 30 Nov) and collect it at the venue. NeurIPS
  • Hang it no earlier than 30 minutes before your session, with the strips or pins provided, and take it down after. NeurIPS
  • Set your poster topic by 15 November; it decides where your poster hangs. wiki.eventhosts.cc
  • Upload a virtual poster: PNG up to 5120 x 2880 px and 10 MB, plus a thumbnail (general guidance from the conference platform wiki, not year-specific; unconfirmed for 2026). wiki.eventhosts.cc
  • Prepare a 30-second pitch and a 2-3 minute walk-through. cmu.edu
  • Spotlight papers present here too: spotlight is an honour tag, not a talk. NeurIPS

Posters page

Oral

  • Give a talk in an oral session. NeurIPS has not published the length; in Atlanta four papers share each 60-minute session. NeurIPS
  • Make 16:9 slides, open with the title and authors or a QR code to your paper page: SlidesLive matches the recording from it. wiki.eventhosts.cc
  • Upload one PDF of at most 10 MB at neurips.cc/SlidesUpload (general guidance from the conference platform wiki, not year-specific; unconfirmed for 2026), and keep the same file on your laptop. wiki.eventhosts.cc
  • Bring your laptop, an HDMI adapter and a laser pointer; do not rely on venue internet. NeurIPS
  • Be in the room 15 minutes early; the centre of the front row is kept for speakers. wiki.eventhosts.cc
  • If no one gives the talk, NeurIPS may downgrade the paper to a poster or revoke acceptance. NeurIPS
  • You also present your poster in its poster session, so prepare both. NeurIPS

As data: author-resources.json, with every address, size and checksum.

Use an AI assistant

The prompts on the Posters and Oral pages tell an assistant where to download our templates and which official rules to keep. Every file has a stable address and needs no sign-in or JavaScript. The LaTeX sources are also served one file at a time as plain text, so assistants that can only read web pages can still open them:

Coding agents can fetch the zips directly:

curl -O https://qrsntu.org/service/neurips26/assets/poster/neurips26-poster-latex.zip
curl -O https://qrsntu.org/service/neurips26/assets/talk/neurips26-talk-latex.zip
curl -O https://qrsntu.org/service/neurips26/assets/prompts/neurips26-poster-prompt.txt

For the full list with sizes and SHA-256 checksums, give the assistant author-resources.json; the guide's llms.txt lists the same files. MyStuff, the uploads and OpenReview need your own sign-in, so do those steps yourself.
